Each restaurant has their own style to making it by using ground beef or ground chuck, with water or milk, and salt & pepper. Speedy Chef has been a local favorite for generations, with roots that go all the way back to the 1950s. Originally opened as a Tastee Freeze, it quickly became a gathering place for friends and families looking to enjoy simple, satisfying food.
Over the years, the name changed, but the heart of the restaurant never did. As Speedy Chef, we’ve stayed true to what made us special from the very beginning—serving up classic American favorites made the way you remember them.
